About Us

Our Story

St. Mary’s Baptist Church has been worshiping in Ledbetter, Texas, since 1875. For more than 150 years, families here have come together on Sunday mornings to worship God and look out for one another and our neighbors.

In 2026 we celebrated our 151st Homecoming. The theme was “Fellowship in the Gospel.”

Our Mission

Our motto is A Place to Begin, Belong, and Become.

• Begin: New to faith, or coming back after some time away? This is a good place to start your walk with Jesus Christ.
• Belong: In Christ we are all children of God (Galatians 3:26). We hope you’ll make St. Mary’s your church home.
• Become: We grow in faith together on Sunday mornings, at Wednesday Bible study, and by serving others.

Our Pastor

Our pastor is Stephen L. Kinnison. If you miss a Sunday, you can find his sermons on the Bible App.

What We Believe

As a Baptist church, we believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, that salvation comes by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, and that the church is a family of believers called to worship God, love one another, and serve our neighbors.

Plan a visit. We’d love to meet you.
